Robert Pingor

Robert is currently employed by the U.S. Department of Defense. He is the Chief Instructor and of Nomad Tactical Solutions as well as the Chief of the Law Enforcement Division of The CORE Group.

Robert has extensive training experience in both the government and private sectors. He has instructed students in the Department of Defense, National Security Agency, National Geospacial Intelligence Agency, West Point Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy Annapolis, and the National Defense University. Additionally he instructs classes at nearly every premier InfoSec conference in the U.S. including: Blackhat, DefCon, Sansfire, Sans Institute, Hope, ShmooCon, Bsides, and the Forrester Group.

Outside of work Robert is involved in various charities and non for profits. Robert trains new volunteers for the Araminta Freedom Initiative, an organization established to combat child sex trafficking in Baltimore. Additionally he serves as the head of the Maryland chapter of The Open Organisation of Lockpickers and is a volunteer EMT.
